Leena inspired me to make this dress last fall. As sewing projects often go, it got put on the back burner until recently. It is finally finished just in time for this fall.
It is made from a beautiful wool crepe that we have for sale here at the store. The photo above does not show the detail on the sleeve and belt so here is a close up photo of the belt. The belt is made from the same wool crepe, but there is a sewn in interfacing called "Texture Magic." When you apply steam to the Texture Magic, it shrinks up and gives you a unique textured effect.
