Mexico

I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Mexico with my mom. We volunteered with a great organization called Project Amigo. http://www.projectamigo.orgWe helped sort over 5,000 books and we delivered 20 mini libraries to elementary schools in Colima, Mexico.
I learned a lot about Mexican culture and grew to love the people and the place.
I love the use of color and textiles in Mexico. It is so bright and fun. It would be great to take another trip there someday to just to go fabric shopping.
I am so glad that I got to go. I owe a big thank you to Amber and Leena for all there hard work while I was away! Thank you both for keeping the store open so I could have this amazing experience.
