Ever since I watched "Coco before Chanel" I have wanted a simple shirt like this...
I have had a hard time finding a navy and white striped knit. As I was thrift store shopping last week I found a black and white striped turtle neck. It was so soft and comfortable, I couldn't pass it up. I cut the turtle neck off and made a flower with the extra fabric. It was fun and easy.
I made this skirt out of a cotton dotted swiss that we got in the store a couple weeks ago. The waistband is simply 3" wide black elastic (we also carry 3" wide white elastic). This skirt was also super quick and easy to make.
