Flower accessories

The flower accessories that were made in class tonight were beautiful! I hope they had a good time making them. While we're on the topic of these lovely flowers, I had a customer come in the other day by the name of Hailey Rose. She made the most beautiful roses out of silk dupioni and shared these photos of them. Go to http://www.brydferth.etsy.com to see more.

Yellow Bird

Since opening the store a year ago, I have been asked this question many times; "where did the name Yellow Bird Fabrics come from?" I do not have a simple answer. What I perceive a yellow bird to be is sentimental to me and may not make sense to everyone. It may be best explained by a book I made for my husband years ago, when we both needed a yellow bird in our lives.
