.....that we carry rayon bemberg lining in a multitude of colors? The above is just a smattering of colors that we carry. This is my go to lining when lining a garment. It works well for dresses, skirts, pants, jackets and it's breathable and feels wonderful against the skin. Really, really. Additionally, while you can find this lining at Joann (in only 4 colors, by the way) we offer it at a less expensive rate than they do! At 45" wide, 100% rayon and $7.95 per yard, it can't be beat. Plus you don't have to dig through a whole bunch of crummy polyester and acetate to find it! Just sayin is all....
And to boot, we offer stretch linings! We stock them in four neutral colors at the moment (above). These linings are hard to find - ask me how I know - and they work wonderfully in garments where you want to maintain the stretch factor like stretch wools and cottons. You could even line a double-knit dress or skirt in one of these! These are a poly/rayon blend with a touch of spandex for some stretch. These linings are 54" wide and $7.95 per yard.
We also offer beautiful silk charmeuses and crepe de chines for all of you in need of a luxury lining. My favorite combo? I love using silk charmeuse in the sleeves of a jacket, whilst using a rayon in the body. This keeps the cost down whilst still giving me a touch of luxury in the part that will touch my skin the most often. Our silks come in a range of colors and even prints, for those of you wanting an added touch of fun.
