Monday's challenge was to create something completely new and different from a simple ol' white t-shirt. The girls were given dye, scissors, and a sewing machine then went to work.

Tuesday, the students were given old pillow cases and some ribbon to embellish these fabulous skirts they made.

Wednesday, old clothes were dumped onto a table and the girls had to alter, cut, tear, dye, embellish and accessorize a new outfit.

Thursday, the girls were given old buttons, zippers, bottle caps, and other recycled objects to make earings, pins, other jewelry and hair accessories.
Friday was the Fashion Show! I was so proud of these fabulous students. They did such a great job!

Are you a creative detail-oriented person passionate about innovation and in search of a place to self-express? This seven-day workshop will provide you with a chance to explore this multifarious field and will culminate in a huge Fashion Show event where our students will market their new fashion line. In our design school workshop, students will develop their sense of color, texture and detail; they will sketch, sew, render and pattern while embellishing their creative ideas visually and verbally with studs, patches, stencils, textures, dye, and other accents. No prerequisite required. Some sewing experience is an asset. $215.00
