FOR EMME
My dear friend, Emme Packer, is a musician from Utah who, due to illness, has been unable to play music for sometime now.
A year ago her health declined rapidly when her arms began to flare in pain and atrophy, and she began losing the sensation in her legs.
Recently she found a specialist who diagnosed her with something called Late Stage Lyme Disease. This is when a person has unknowingly been infected with Lyme bacteria and doesn't get treatment in time, spreading the disease to the organs, tissues, brain and heart. Emme needs to begin treatment right away to see how she responds, but this expensive treatment is not covered by insurance.
Here is how you can help, go to http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/emme-s-future-help-this-artist-get-medical-treatment to donate.
Also ALL OF THE PROCEEDS made at Yellow Bird Fabrics on Saturday, June 1st will go to EMME! So come in to the shop and help out a fellow artist!
